Here is how I make French Toast…
That’s sliced bread, (any bread will do, brioche is particularly good)
Butter to fry it in. (I only ever use butter, it tastes better and gives a satisfying crunch to the toast.
And a note about my cinnamon sugar, the canister is made of cinnamon bark, I just keep it full of caster sugar. It was a gift from my sister and it works well.
