Decisions

DSC_1293

So today I sent Manchild back to university.

He has flown to the other end of New Zealand for a second year.

He is 19. He has a purpose in life, friends, a social network and a nice-ish place to sleep. Quality student life.

As a mother – I can say “yes”. Job done. For now.

For me this is year two of empty nest. I can see the way forward for me and this blog…

We will be a recipe book and garden guide, with some butchery thrown in for fun.
