Now, we wait

The bug season is upon me, suckers, nibblers, hoppers, disease spreaders…

But also butterflies – soon.

I saw this monarch caterpillar hanging upside down and thought, “Cool! something to follow this week that isn’t too difficult.”

If nothing else in my blog this week, we can all share this butterfly’s birth. I decided to go fetch the camera, got waylaid with a short phone call, and got back to find, NO caterpillar. Did I knock it off? where? OH!!! it’s morphed, shed its’ skin and is now on its way to adulthood.

…and all theĀ brothers and sisters.

DSC_0021 DSC_0022There is always something good in nature to balance the bad. Why do we humans always try to “fix” nature? All we do is mess it up, and make a worse mess fixing it.

‘Nuff’ said.

Until tomorrow….
