Yay! Its over.

Gifts given and received, no family ructions, and I didn’t eat too much. All in all a good outcome.

But for me, the best part was returning to my garden to find that the Tui parents have brought their twins to learn how to forage. I wish you could hear the chatter as these two clowns flit through the branches, inches from my lazy cats. Their poor parents are having knuptions.TuiYoung3 TuiYoung4 Youn Tui2 Young Tui

  1. Is your design worked in cross stitch …it’s beautiful. You’ve probably explained somewhere else the signifigance, is that your coat of arms maybe? I shall go looking. Visiting you from the Farmy lounge đŸ™‚

    • Hi Nanette, thank you for visiting. The embroidery technique is called Opus Anglicanum, its a very old style of embroidery, the same one used in the Bayeux Tapestry. I am fascinated by the early medieval period in history. If you scroll down you will find the pouch as it progresses.
